There are very few programs that have stood the test of time in this crazy world. We politicize or make the profits more important, and thus, the program is no longer about the individual.

 

AA is one of the solutions that has stood the test of time. It’s the same today as it was when it started. It exists to help us battle our addictions. It’s free, and you can literally find a meeting every day. Visit AA.org to learn more.

 

Luckily, for us addicts, we are coming up with additional treatments for addiction every day, and we will discuss these different treatment methods in great detail. I finally found my bottom on April 19, 1998. Like a lot of addicts, this would be my 3rd or 4th try at getting sober. So the message there is never stop trying to do the right thing!
