BRIDGING THE GAP
The Problem
The foster care system can provide financial assistance for kids who have turned 18 years of age, but our system was never designed to support the young adults after they aged out of the current foster care model. For the kids who have aged out of foster care in the last 50 years, the stats are not in our favor.
The Solution : foster care college
So, what are we going to do about it? We’re taking the next step in our mission — and it’s a big one. Help2Others is embarking on a biblical journey to build a Foster Care College.
What does that mean? It means we’re creating a village built on faith, love, and purpose, where mentorship, trade skills, and spiritual growth come together. This village, campus, and community is of, about, and all for the children. What we are going to create is a community we all live in, centered on foster children and our ability to affect a child’s life positively and to teach them to support themselves and navigate the world.
